I am applying as a Youth Advisor to the World Scout Committee. I am ready to provide a lot of knowledge, positive energy, creativity, working with young people and their needs, knowledge on governance, Youth Engagement, and a strong strategic approach to the World. This interest was confirmed after I joined the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) represented by the Oman Scouts and Guides. I have been a member of the Scout Movement for more than 15 years, committed to the values of Scouting, and a leader in different scouting experiences and in the academe, too.
I strongly believe that Scouting is the lead organization to the non-formal education where we feel the importance of this aspect every time we work with scout groups, This system will be a source of learning in many countries around the world especially those countries that suffer from lack of access to formal education.
I am strongly motivated to support young people, empower leaders. self-development,
I am inspired to lead the implementation of the vision of 2023 and work towards the strategic priorities. I am very willing to share not only my various scouting experiences to reach all levels within the movement, understand the situation on an international level but also my professional experience as an IT specialist, and my trainings on project management and on strategic development, capacity building and mentoring.
Working as a team, I know we can achieve even more on responding to the needs of NSOs/NSAs through creative approaches, promoting WOSM Services, better cooperation and sharing our knowledge with those in need. Our joint efforts towards the principles of transparency and good governance must be strengthened by the effective communication channels developing new and maintaining old partnerships and relationships with all Youth organizations …
I believe that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand and I am confident that we and most NSOs/NSAs share the same vision. I am confident that my experience in Scouting paired with my dedication and commitment allows me to do my responsibilities within your expectations and our shared goals.
